rummuser,
It's too bad she never had a chance to go with you. (:

I must say, the picture above brings back some wonderful memories. We lived in Orsay, at the time a little village a half-hour train ride from Paris. I took that ride almost every weekday to Alliance Francais, where I studied French. And I did a lot of sightseeing after my classes. It was a great way to start a marriage.

Jean, second time in just about a week's time that you have got me all teary eyed and nostalgic. Again, Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter.
I love Paris in the spring time
I love Paris in the fall
I love Paris in the summer when it sizzles
I love Paris in the winter when it drizzles

I love Paris every moment
Every moment of the year
I love Paris, why oh why do I love Paris
Because my love is here.

I have been to Paris on occasions when it was raining, when it was sunny, when it was snowing and when it was miserable generally with a massive strike with everything closed down. I loved every minute of my stay on each occasion. The only problem was my love was not there, but back home waiting for me.

rummusers last blog post..Light At The End Of The Tunnel.
