Six favourite things.

No.1. No two ways about it, hot tea freshly brewed with grated green ginger.

No.2. My daily tryst with my crossword puzzles.

No.3. My weekly Vedanta class.

No.4. My wife and I, Sitting every evening on our favorite bench and socializing with our friends at the neighborhood park.

No.5. The time I spend blogging, visiting and commenting on other blogs, and replying to comments on my blog.

No.6. The increasingly getting to be rare, time spent with our son.

Six favorite bloggers.

1. On top of the list is Jean Browman with both her blogs.

2. Teeni at vaguetarian

3. Mike Goad at Exit 78

4. Tikno at Love Ely

5. Ellen Weber at Brain Leaders and Learners

6. Rose at Rose's Obstacles and Glories

rummuser,
Yes, do whatever feels right to you. This award is meant to be friendly. Lori just listed the things that makes her happy here. As she said, she doesn't like to tag.

Jean, I am truly honored. Thank you.

Listing six favorite things is quite simple. Listing six favorite blogs is however difficult. Will it be alright to list those that you too have?

Maya,
:) You're welcome. I love the friendliness of it.

Lance,
Thank you for the kind words. You made my day!

Lori,
Thanks for sharing your list. It sounds like your husband is a gem...I'm happy for you. :)

I'm like you and your husband, I like doing things differently once in a while to avoid stagnation. And like you I think of the bits and pieces in my mind as a gigantic jigsaw puzzle. It's exciting when they sometimes fit together.

Jean,
Thanks! You're such a giving person. I fell in love with your "Traits of Stress-Hardy, Resilient People" awhile back, and appreciate your nuggets of wisdom in your posts and comments.

I'm not much of a tagger, but here's the list of 6:

Six things that make me happy:
1) My husband's ability to understand the deep mysteries of life
2) My husband's ability to play, dance, and laugh through life
3) My husband's ability to love me for who and what I am
4) Our two cats' loving and beautiful souls
5) "New stuff! New stuff!" What my husband and I call doing things differently to avoid stagnation.
6) Reading or seeing something that clicks the puzzle pieces into place in my mind and heart and then finding a way to share it with others

Jean, thank you so much for this - I, too, am truly honored and humbled by this. You are a source of much knowledge in my thought process Jean, and your words continue to guide me in my life - as I journey through it all. So, thank you, also, for the wisdom you continuously share here - I'm a better person because of the time I've spent reading and pondering your words....

bikehikebabe,
Thanks for joining in. I've decided to love my apartment even when it's a shambles. I'm grateful that it's so tolerant of me getting involved in other things. Thanks for pointing out the link to If You Had Led the Life I Lead doesn't work in Safari. I don't have any trouble in Firefox. Browsers are mysterious things. :) Presumably there will be no problem when it gets to my home page tomorrow. I really appreciate your feedback.

Mike and bikehikebabe,
Here's the picture (the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise)

Mike,
:) Do what feels right for you. It is about creativity.

I love the MBTI. I took the official version twice. The first time I was an ENFP, being on borderline of E and I and F and T, but strongly an N and P. The second time I was an INFP, with the same borderlines and strong preferences. When I received the results of the first test my reaction was, "For the first time in my life I feel really understood."

Being an introvert you might enjoy the last snapshot on tomorrow's post at Cheerful Monk: If You Had Led the Life I Lead. It is accessible now but won't appear on my home page until tomorrow morning. (Correction: bikehikebabe pointed out the link doesn't work for her, so I included the snapshot below.)
